?? Atlanta’s Gulch Gets a Makeover – Plus Weekend Fun Ideas!

Atlanta’s Gulch is getting a $5B makeover – and you’ll want to see it! What was once a concrete “hole” downtown is now Centennial Yards, a massive mixed-use community. Construction kicked off in late 2022 on twin 19-story towers (the 304-unit Mitchell apartments and the 292-room Hotel Phoenix), and more is coming fast: an 8-acre entertainment plaza (ready for the 2026 World Cup), a 5,000-seat music venue, hotels and shops.
This weekend, why not check out Downtown Atlanta’s transformation firsthand? Grab a ShackBurger at the brand-new Shake Shack (opening Aug 13 at 85 Centennial Olympic Park Dr), or chill at Wild Leap Brewery (already open in the Gulch). If you like live sports, catch Atlanta United vs. NY Red Bulls on Sat 8/15 at 7:30?PM or head to Truist Park for the Braves vs. Diamondbacks games Fri–Sun. Stroll through Centennial Olympic Park or hit the Piedmont Park Arts Festival (Aug 15&n ...

?? Could Someone Try to Sell Your Georgia Property Without You Knowing?

Georgia Homeowners: How to Protect Your Property From Deed Fraud
A property doesn't have to be listed for sale for someone to try to sell it.
That may sound alarming, but it's an important reality for Georgia homeowners, landowners, investors and landlords to understand.
Recently, we encountered a disturbing situation involving a Georgia land lot. An individual claimed to be the property owner and attempted to move forward with a sale.
The actual owner, however, had never listed the property for sale.
After the information was verified with the true owner, the situation was stopped.
Unfortunately, this type of property-owner impersonation isn't merely hypothetical. In June 2026, the FBI issued a public warning about criminals impersonating owners of vacant property parcels and attempting to sell those properties without the owners' knowledge or consent. According to the FBI, scammers may use fake identification, email addresses and phone numbers to impersonate legitimate owne ...

What Are the Top 5 Neighborhoods in Alpharetta, GA?

Thinking about a move to Alpharetta? You are not alone. This city keeps landing on "best places to live in Georgia" lists, and once you spend a weekend here, you will understand why. But Alpharetta is not one neighborhood, it is a patchwork of very different communities, so picking the right one matters just as much as picking the right house.

So what are the top 5 neighborhoods in Alpharetta? Windward, St Ives, Avalon and Downtown Alpharetta, Kimball Bridge, and Country Club of the South consistently rank as the most sought-after areas. Each one has its own personality, price point, and lifestyle, so let's break them down.

    Windward

Windward is the neighborhood people picture when they think "Alpharetta lake life." Lake Windward gives residents boating and water access you just do not find in most metro Atlanta suburbs, and the community has a country club feel without feeling stuffy. Families love the top-rated schools here, and sellers in Windward tend to. ...

SHORT SALES ARE BACK ON THE RADAR | Short Sale vs. Foreclosure: What Georgia Homeowners MUST Know

HOMEOWNERS — PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS.
The housing market is shifting, and short sales are officially back on the radar.
Here are two numbers you should know:
Nationally: Short sales jumped 16% in early 2026.
Georgia: Foreclosure filings are up more than 50% year-over-year.
That doesn't mean every homeowner is in trouble. But it does mean that more homeowners, buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals need to understand how short sales work.
That's why I sat down with Chris Little of Parkway Law Group for an important conversation about short sales and foreclosures.
    WATCH THE FULL INTERVIEW:https://youtu.be/rsyDPR9UeN4
    In this interview, we discuss:

    Short Sale vs. Foreclosure
